Audio Visual Systems were historically stand-alone systems in their design but there are benefits to them becoming fully integrated with the Hotel IP Wired and Wireless Network. This allows for the sharing of Backbone infrastructure and also the Active Network Equipment which can significantly assist with non-duplication of Active and Passive Infrastructure combined with reducing costs for the systems.

Scope of Services - Audio Visual Consultancy
Manage the full scope design through the following stages:
- Concept Design
- Schematic Design
- Design Development
- Tender Documentation, Issue and Review
- Construction Document issue
- Contactor Shop drawing review and technical submittal review
- Installation, Contract Administration, Construction site periodic site inspections.
- Final testing, Documentation Review and Installation Acceptance.
Responsibility for the preparation of all drawings, schedules and other documentation sufficient enough to execute the pre- and post- contract works. Preparation of full construction documentation in relation to the following list:

- Digital audio background music course and distribution systems, including all components necessary to connect end user devices
- Touch screen digital control panels and related control systems
- Recessed ceiling or recessed wall mounted projectors
- Recessed drop down projection screens
- Interfaces with fire annunciation systems
- Interfaces to digital dimming systems for common control of lighting and AV
